Weekly recap

This was a rough week for us. All three kids for pink eye one day after another, two with the bonus ear infection. So there was lots of waking up at night and overall crying and discomfort. No pictures of that today.

We also got seriously into the decluttering of our home because we hope to list it in the next few weeks. So there have been many late nights trying to purge junk we've held onto, boxing up valuables, and countless trips to the storage unit. The kids have not made this a quick or enjoyable process.

In better news, Will began soccer practice today. Will raced around in his first Adidas and some of his classmates are on his team so he had a blast. At least for today he mostly paid attention to his coaches...

Maggie & Stella are 2!

Today was Maggie and Stella's 2nd Birthday.  We celebrated with friends and family yesterday - guess the theme from the pictures below.  Patti and her parents went above and beyond (the rainbow) to make the party very special for our special little ladies.

After a few hours of cake, sweets, and running around, we brought the party home for presents.  Our home is now littered with fairies, wings, dolls, multiple tea party sets, and more.  There's a very good chance they will never need to share anything until their next birthday...

Sunday morning was breakfast "cakes" for the girls.  Pancakes, that is.

And then it was back to presents.  Will even got into the action - he was such a good big brother today.  We thanked him with a special gift of his own and he told Patrick before bed tonight that he was a very good boy today for Maggie and Stella because he loves them a lot.  We'll see about that after a week of tea parties...
