Star Wars night 2013

Last night was this year's version of Star Wars night with the Bowie Baysox - one of the Baltimore Orioles' minor league teams.  The plan was to take a night off of packing and enjoy ourselves but Maggie and Stella were still too sick to head out so the Carey ladies stayed home and played playdoh and Will and Daddy had a fun night out.

Despite a year of talking about how these weren't really "bad guys" but guys just like daddy in costumes, Will was still pretty afraid of them.  This is Will's very scared and nervous smile...

Happy Daddy...

Jango Fett told Daddy that he has the same Darth Vader iPhone cover as him.  Pretty fun to hear a normal voice say that out of this classic bad guy.

Father's Day

With the looming move and constant packing, this year's Father's Day was pretty low-key.  Patti and the kids let daddy see the new Superman movie and they showered him with lots of great presents, including a fun book from the girls and a father/son baseball mitt package so that Will can learn to throw and catch.  Patti's parents got Will his first fishing pole so that he and daddy can go fishing soon.

Will knew about the mitt for almost two weeks and kept his mouth shut.  He was soooo proud of he and mommy's little secret.
