A week at Pop & Mimi's - part 1

In late July, we spent a very full and fun week in Connecticut at Bill and Bonnie's house.  In what is becoming an annual tradition, we visited Rocky Neck State Park, enjoyed Pepe's pizza, rode everything imaginable at Quassy, and got the kids in the pool.

Rocky Neck is so cool because it's an ocean beach right next to a railway, so 10 or so trains blew through over the course of the day.

No jellyfish this year thank you very much, and the weather was great.  All the kids got into the water this year, some more carefully than others.  Will liked splashing in the breakers and the girls would only go in if Bonnie or Daddy carried them.

Seaweed was the only catch of the day.  The girls couldn't get enough of it for some reason.

We think they liked it...
